Friending Meme - Find new people to connect with on Dreamwidth!

The idea behind a friending meme is that you read short descriptions of people's interests, find people you think you would connect with well, and subscribe to their Dreamwidths. It's a great way to meet new folks.

One of the questions, the one about other sites you use and your username(s) on them, requires a little tech support. Dreamwidth has a tag that allows for user name="YOUR NAME HERE" site="SOCIAL MEDIA SITE". For a list of which sites are supported, see this FAQ page. The links look like this:

Other combinations of Star Wars characters I enjoy are: I adore Qui Gon Jinn along with the Quiobi and Quiobiani ships, and I'm a huge fan of the original trilogy characters as well (Luke my beloved).

Fanwork tropes/clichés I enjoy are: In general angst with a happy ending (my idea of a happy ending is the ship I like ending up together, even if it's in a messed up way) with plenty of sexual/romantic tension and/or slowburn; but for more specific things I like time-travel fix-it fics, fuck or die, hanahaki, non or under-negotiated kinks, catholic guilt (or whatever Star Wars equivalent Obi-Wan has going on when he knows he shouldn't want his Padawan). Specifically for Star Wars, I also like Sith!Obi-Wan art/fics.

Other fandom(s) I enjoy: Marvel comics (mostly X-Men, Deadpool, and Venom), Resident Evil, Final Fantasy 7, Slayers, Frankenstein (novel).

Other topic(s) I want to talk about on my blog: Mostly art and writing and other creative projects, and maybe some fandom analysis. I probably won't be blogging much about my personal life since I tend to prefer to discuss those things privately.

\o/ Fiber arts! Do you have pictures of any of your amirigumi?

I don't make them, m'self, but my buddy sage sent me a glorious General Leia they made, and I adore the Interview with a Vampire dolls they've also done. For my part, I am ludicrously tempted by this scarf pattern on Ravelry. Not that I need any more scarves, but surely someone out there would enjoy it.

I haven't finished the amigurumi yet! But I will absolutely take some pictures when I do. Honestly, I've only made a single one before (a Venom one), but since I found some tutorials for cute Star Wars ones I feel inspired to make more. I mostly make accessories and clothing items otherwise haha

And oh my gosh! That Leia is so adorable! I love that scarf, too 👀 That is indeed very tempting...

I would love to see your bitty Venom. That sounds so cute.

I often throw open a "Prompt me and I will write you a drabble or a poem" writing offer in my journal, and james is really fond of prompting me to write poetry as written by Venom, which is a delightfully silly challenge, so I have done it several times now.

And that is so cute! I know I've seen some of your limericks on ao3, but I've mostly just looked through your Star Wars stuff so I didn't seen your Venom poems! Venom writing poetry for Eddie is such a lovely idea haha (I know the Symbiote would be a secret romantic... or maybe not so secret lol.)
